drum roll, please

well, jerry, you had it almost right. i am able to do all three things!! my trip to newfoundland, courtesy of mrs. kay birchall (the donor of my scholarship) will be taking place from sept. 21st to 23rd. i arrive back in winnipeg the morning of the 23rd, in time to drive to winkler and make it to martha's wedding!

and i went out to applebee's with syd 2 weeks ago, so all is well :) chris came along too, syd, remember that!!

amazing how these things work out. i just got home from my little road trip to saskatchewan, where i was able to relax in the little town of caronport, hang out with joanna and tony and baby noah, as well as see sally and dave whose wedding i attended in march!! that visit was a surprise, and very fun. on the way home, i stopped in and met baby abbi at melissa and ty's place! so at the end of this trip, i am left with an entire film full of baby pictures. and a new appreciation for my little jetta, who worked her heart out and didn't give me any numb bum!

school starts in a week. oh! i've had the most fantastic talks with my friends in the last few days (the friends with babies) and i can't wait to process all that has happened this summer on top of that! my mind is going crazy, so for now i am content to be at home, on my farm, with my hyperactive dog and laundry.
