here is my very first attempt at posting pictures. aren't my kids the cutest? jessica is on the left, vicky and brian on the right. oh for the days of heat in taiwan...never thought i'd miss sweating all the time! too bad vicky isn't wearing one of her cute funny english t-shirts. my favorite was one that said "the time for a good party" that's it. that's all it said!

Marcia, I saw the note you wrote to me at Maurice's site, thanks. The difference between having a friend in the UPC church and having a regular Christian friend is that they believe unless you speak in tongues and are baptized in "Jesus Name" you are not saved. You probably already know this, but some people aren't aware of that fact. It affected me strongly even twenty years after it all began. My friend is a Pastor now in the UPC, so on fire, and yet so misguided. We don't speak any longer.
By the way, I am from Canada too, Manitoba to be exact.
Ok, so now I am freaked out! I just read back in your previous posts and I saw one where you mentioned Portage and another the U of W. "I'M FROM WINNIPEG!"
What are the chances of that? Bizarre. If you get the Lance, the Metro, or the Herald, I will have a story in there tomorrow.
