this makes me cry. i just finished the kite runner, a novel by khaled hosseini, and i cried through it as well.
why?
i'm so frustrated with my lack of ability to DO anything. it's times like these that i want to drop to my knees and truly intercede, not just toss up a prayer. but i feel so alone doing it. i feel so disconnected. Jesus, give me a heart for your people, for justice and mercy.
i'm so sheltered and apathetic. God, stir up a passion for intercession for the nations. who am i to ask for money to pay a speeding ticket? i'm not saying God doesn't care about the little things, i know he does. but if i am 200 bucks short for one month, what does it matter? i have all i need.

hey, i realised that you left me a comment some months ago, telling me you were a ywamer and i realised that i had not responded or said anything, making it seem like i was ignoring you, when i didn't mean to. Anyways, i wanted to say sorry, as well as leave a little encouraging note. I guess reading this comment i would encourage you to intercede. there is a reason your heart feels the sadness and such. God places it there so that we have the privilage to help in the spreading of his kingdom here on earth. And your not alone in doing it. Anyways, sorry it took me so long to leave you a comment.
I love your heart Marcia Krahn! God sees the desires that are deep in you and it counts! Even the smallest groan in prayer counts! I REALLY hope you get to come back to onething this year!
LOVE YOU!
