i'm posting again!
speaking of posting, i can now trot on a horse without bouncing around. that is good. but just for update's sake, i will let you in on more exciting things in my life!
camp has been incredible. i'm the girls counsellor for their Leadership Training Program, and we are in our 3rd week of four. i LOVE my kids!!! these are teens that are so desperate to know God and hear from him, it is awesome! and hard, when they have struggles, but i love being a part of their developing relationship with Jesus!!!
i'm also part of the worship team here, which has been an adjustment, since i'm not the leader. i've learned a lot about a lot of things and am still learning. it has really been enjoyable to sit back and let someone else organize things, though! all i do is come and sing whatever harmony my little heart desires.
according to my campers, i should be interested in about 15 boys here. they are all younger than me. the boys, that is. nonetheless, i have made some incredible friends, built great muscle (helping out in maintenance this week) and learned heaps about Jesus and his love for me!
who knew i'd come to this camp and feel like i'd known these people all my life. it still surprises me to think that i knew NO ONE coming here. i love it!

Hey Marcia, it's Jerry from Arkansas. I have been trying to visualize you trotting on the horse. Or was it the horse that was trotting?
Your experiences at camp sound great, especially that learning about Jesus part.
Blessings,
Jerry
